I've always understood our task as advising my clients with clear, simple recommendations in highly complex processes. Of course, we not only have the expertise and experience to handle high complexity; but for clients as entrepreneurs, this needs to result in practicable options. With this approach, I've been working for many years in M&A, venture capital, and corporate law. I love mid-market M&A transactions because they combine entrepreneurial freedom with the 'usual M&A circus' - professional processes alongside experiencing each entrepreneur's unique story as they often sell their life's work. The innovation spirit and speed that founders and VC investors bring to the table continuously helps me become a bit better and more digital in my daily work. And when things get contentious, I have no problem taking off the kid gloves in court and beyond, willing to emerge bloodied from the ring for my clients. My prominent position in stewardship ownership (Purpose-driven ownership) then rounds out my work. I'm very pleased to have been able to help implement this 'movement' across Germany for many years. I'm proud that our efforts have resulted in standard articles of association and standard terms (FPPA), allowing us to contribute to the entire 'scene'. But I'm not just a lawyer; today I'm essentially also an entrepreneur. Not only with HADLEY but also as a business angel and founder of Heimatboost (https://www.heimatboost.de/), as a supervisory board member, as co-founder and managing director of Companycheck.ai, and always with a passion for business models in the LegalTech space. I'm still young and looking forward to many more opportunities ahead.
