Professional Expertise
Looking back, I would tell my 18-year-old self: Tax advisory is not about "bean counting" and isn't just about juggling numbers. And: You can be a tax advisor without wearing a suit and tie. This profession is about so much more: finding solutions to problems (that others don't even know exist), helping clients move forward, and seeing the person behind the numbers. A good team and pleasant atmosphere are important for achieving great results. One focus of my work is consulting on all aspects of real estate taxation.
Personal
It's equally important to me to spend quality time in my private life to clear my mind and recharge. Whether through shared activities, good conversations, or simply experiencing special moments – what matters is surrounding yourself with people whose company you enjoy.
Cars - the more impractical, the better! My passion for cars knows no bounds - and yes, I admit, a bit of impracticality is perfectly fine. Technical specs, horsepower figures, and 0-60 times? I have it all in my head - basically a walking car trump card game. Another hobby is swimming and water polo - no wonder, as the 'water gene' runs in my family. Even though I train less frequently these days, my enthusiasm for these sports remains undiminished.
Another passion of mine is traveling. I'm particularly fascinated by the American West Coast with its impressive diversity. Within just a few hours, you can go from vibrant metropolises like San Francisco or Los Angeles to endless beaches, dense forests, desert landscapes, or snow-capped mountains.
