Professional Expertise
By chance, I came into contact with what was then "Wirth und Collegen." What began as an internship over 10 years ago evolved into a working student position, then my first "real" job, and finally led to my tax advisor examination. Meanwhile, "Wirth und Collegen" has become HADLEY, and I have found my place as "team leader, tax department." Consulting in the medium-sized business sector means new challenges every day; that's what excites me. Being both a generalist and primary contact for clients on one hand, while mastering tax hurdles in planning and succession cases and thinking outside the box on the other – at HADLEY, I can combine all of these aspects.
Personal
A Google search of my name is enough to get an idea of my "passion":
swimming / cycling / running. One day, I found the "courage for the first step" mentioned above: In 2021, I actually managed to secure a starting spot at the Challenge in Roth, and one of the most exciting journeys I've ever embarked on began. Besides having a team and social environment that supports and sustains this goal, it's in the nature of things that "consistency" is necessary for the dream and goal of finishing a long-distance race. Once infected with the long-distance "virus," triathlon remains my recipe for unwinding. A tour with the "Leeze" (local dialect for bicycle) into the "Teuto" (short for Teutoburg Forest), a run along the canal - that's quality of life for me. And yes, quite a few tax problems have already been solved while on the bike. "Team," "consistency," and "goal" also have high priority for me in my job.
Fun fact:
At university I said "I'll never work for a certified public accountant" - now I can say it's actually quite nice here 😉
